Color came first, then children. Now there are childred in color, in motion, in light. They have taken away time as I have known it and replaced it with an arrangement of the senses filled with inspiration, exhaustion and refreshment.
The clarity of their innocence is a most charming distraction.

I paint in the wedges of space I can carve around caring for them. What spills forth I hope will infuse a joy and a desire to grace this life with a sweet peace and strong emotion, which remain our best defenses against a more dangerous complacency.
